Aaron Barkla is a recent graduate from Victoria University of Wellington where he studied a Bachelor of Design Innovation majoring in Industrial Design. He now resides in Melbourne, Australia.

During study in Wellington, New Zealand he developed his natural design ability further. His curiosity in all things grew together with an open mind culminating in an interest to solve human problems and manufacturing products. Aaron's strengths in the design process are having empathy for the user and then collecting and researching feedback to manifest the best solution possible.

Often creating a physical product he mainly utilises tools such as Adobe Suite, Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Rhino. He also has knowledge in CNC routing, laser cutting and 3D printing. These skills have not only been learned over four years of university but also in his freelance work, in which he is a videographer and animator.

Aaron enjoys working on random personal projects, watching sci-fi films, gaining space and technology facts and enjoys observing the latest work in the fine arts scene.
